The village of Banya is located in a mountainous area at 801 m above sea level in the center of the Razlog valley between three mountains – Pirin, Rila and Rhodope. It is 5 kilometers from Bansko and Razlog, 25 kilometers from Yakoruda and about 150 kilometers from Sofia and Plovdiv. From here passes the railway line Septemvri-Dobrinishte, which was built in the 1930s.<\/p>

The village has preserved and restored two old mineral baths, which are today its symbols. The old Turkish bath, the so-called Murtina bath, dates back to the 17th century. The second is the Old Bulgarian Bath, built in a typical Roman style, which is why it is also known as the Roman Bath. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
