The sauna infusion is a process in which water enriched with essential oils is poured over the hot stones in the sauna, or snowballs soaked with aromas are placed. These oils evaporate and fill the air with pleasant scents that stimulate the senses and aid relaxation.

How to prepare for a sauna infusion?

  • Hydration:Drink plenty of water before, during, and after the sauna infusion to prevent dehydration.
  • Personal hygiene:Take a shower before entering the sauna.
  • Appropriate attire:The swimsuit is mandatory, bring a cotton towel to sit on. If you have a sauna hat, now is the perfect time to use it. If you don’t have a sauna hat, you can purchase one from the spa shop.
  • Duration:Initially start with short sessions (5-10 minutes) and gradually increase the time. We recommend carefully choosing your spot in the sauna – if you sit on the lowest level, the temperature is lower; if you sit on a higher level, the temperature is higher, so assess according to your needs and health condition where to position yourself.
  • Listen to your body:If you feel dizzy or uncomfortable, leave the sauna!!!
  • Post-sauna infusion:Take a cool shower and relax.

Safety tips:

  • If you have health problems, consult a doctor before visiting the sauna.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol before and during the sauna infusion.
  • Do not overdo the time in the sauna and always cool your body with a cold shower, immersion in a shock pool, or a visit to the ice room after the sauna.
